1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TweetGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TweetGuard provides AI-powered verification of X/Twitter tweet screenshots. The Service compares uploaded screenshots against live post data to assess authenticity. Results are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute legal evidence.
3. Credits and Payments
The Service operates on a credit system. Each verification consumes one credit. Credits are purchased via Stripe and are non-refundable except in the case of verified technical failures on our end. Credits do not expire. New accounts receive one complimentary credit upon registration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use TweetGuard to harass individuals, produce false reports, circumvent verification systems, or engage in any activity that violates applicable law. Automated or bulk use of the Service without prior written consent is prohibited.
5. Accuracy and Limitations
TweetGuard provides best-effort verification results. We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Results depend on data available from the X/Twitter API and the quality of the uploaded screenshot. A result of "Likely Fake" does not constitute definitive proof of fabrication, and a result of "Real & Unedited" does not constitute legal certification of authenticity.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and technology associated with TweetGuard are the property of TweetGuard and its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TweetGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
