Do I need a credit card for the pilot?
No. The 1-week Brand Shield pilot needs only a company name and the handles or keywords you want watched. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to remove from your card, because we never take one.
What happens when the pilot ends?
Monitoring simply pauses. Nothing is charged automatically — you choose a plan only if the daily digest and Brand X-ray proved worth it. Your dashboard and X-ray stay available either way.
Is this even legal?
Yes, and deliberately so. Brand Shield monitors only your organization's own public X footprint — your handles, @mentions of your brand, your public keywords, and handles your executives post publicly. We only read what X makes public, through approved data providers — never scraping and never password access — and we never profile employees or private individuals.
Do you monitor my employees' accounts?
No. Employee screening and individual profiling are explicitly out of scope for Brand Shield — it is built to watch the brand, not the person. That line is written into our terms, not just our marketing.
What does the AI actually flag?
Conduct-level signals: targeted harassment directed at your brand, leak-type disclosures, virality-ready complaints, misinformation about your product. An ordinary criticism or a negative opinion is context, not a crisis — every finding is phrased as worth reviewing, never as an accusation.
Can I cancel a paid plan?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month through our payment provider. Cancel anytime and monitoring stops at the end of the current month — no retention calls, no lock-in.
